Frequently asked questions

Can I go through the process on my own?
Yes, but the administration is extensive and requires technical knowledge. The MySolar team does 9 out of 10 steps on your behalf — you just sign a few documents.
How long does the whole process really take?
On average 60-90 days; most of it is waiting on EPS (technical conditions + project approval + technical acceptance). With the MySolar team, you don't wait — we track every deadline.
What happens with surplus electricity?
Prosumer status lets you send surplus electricity to the grid and use it later (in the evening, in winter). This is the so-called "net metering" model. You don't receive money, but you offset consumption.
Is a building permit required?
For residential systems up to 10.8 kW, usually not. For larger systems and industrial installations, yes — we handle the procedure with the municipality.
What happens if EPS rejects the request?
Rarely happens with a properly prepared project. If it does, the MySolar team files an appeal or adjusts the project at no extra cost.
Are there hidden costs after the contract?
No. MySolar's turnkey price includes everything — from design, supply, and installation to paperwork with EPS and technical acceptance. What you see in the offer is what you pay.
