How does the calculator work?

We use real solar irradiation data for your region (source: PVGIS, the EU Joint Research Centre's Photovoltaic Geographical Information System) and current MySolar package prices.

Step 01

Real irradiation

From the PVGIS database: 1,180 to 1,380 kWh/kW/year by region. Southern Serbia gets 17% more sun than northern Vojvodina.

Step 02

Prosumer model

We size the system to cover ~92% of your consumption. The surplus goes to the grid and is used in the evening or winter (prosumer status).

Step 03

Payback with inflation

25-year savings include 4.5% annual electricity price growth (historical average).
